- Big Prism Rainbow Maker Image: 11:20 09:21:47 PST
- With so many people writing to us over the years to put more color in the website, we decided to ask our intrepid photographer to capture a shot of the elusive rainbow maker image that moves over the floor of our office every day...
Our photographer was quite patient in photographing this particular image, as it proved challenging at first to shoot an image of prism light
floating by at a "the way too comfortable speed of light," as he put it - especially with today's digital cameras that have trouble with refraction!.
By the way, this (for science buffs) is not the actual size of the rainbow maker prism light... Some people have told us this is better than a NASA
shot off the Hubble, yet we still trying to perfect shooting the elusive image of a prism.
